High-availability data centers form the backbone of digitalization. With the “DMO - Datacenter Münster Osnabrück”, the most modern data center in the region is being built at Münster Osnabrück Airport. Planning for the construction and operation of the regional data center has been underway since 2022. So that we can concentrate fully on our mission: Strengthening resilience through stability in digitalization. This was preceded by numerous considerations as to how the two parent companies can secure their own requirements for data center services and offer them more extensively due to customer requirements through additional capacities and resources. For as new as our company is, we are experienced in the competencies within the core areas. DMO GmbH combines the necessary qualities from the services of both parent companies. In addition to high security standards and outstanding national and international connectivity, the focus is on sustainability and energy efficiency. As a subsidiary of items GmbH & Co. KG and TKRZ Stadtwerke GmbH, we can draw on over 45 years of IT expertise. DMO will be a hub where the digital sovereignty and resilience of regional organizations and companies will be sustainably strengthened. We are planning to be production ready Q4/2025 - Q1/2026
