This is a beta/testing instance of PeeringDB. Some features may work differently than production. Do not store data here that you intend to keep - all data will be refreshed from production at 2025-01-12 00:00:00Z
Novecore selectively directs users' upload and websocket traffic to this network if it determines the user's ISP has routing deficiencies, such as packet loss or unusually high latencies, to Cloudflare and Novecore's other network service providers.
While the vast majority of networks should not be seeing any traffic to or from this ASN, we recommend every eyeball ISP to peer with it as a precautionary measure so a direct connection to your network is available when needed. Even if your routing is normally excellent, temporary issues can always occur, which our system will automatically pick up and attempt to fix through re-routing.
This ASN will peer with networks who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Is already being re-routed to this ASN (visit test.r.novecore.com to check)
- Is an eyeball ISP, or a NSP primarily serving eyeball ISPs
While we peer with the route servers of some IXPs, we restrict export and import of routes to networks meeting the peering requirements above.
Peers will further need to be able to guarantee that there will not be congestion between the peering point and its end-users.
Peering with this ASN does not guarantee that Novecore upload and websocket traffic is routed via peering as our system automatically optimizes routing for every individual user. Other traffic, such as Novecore's website itself, is currently never served via this network.
If you are a Novecore licensee receiving content uploads from Novecore via Staclar EDP (direct DDEX integration), you will want to peer with AS34854 instead.
